Months of preparation went into planning out the messaging and designs for this throwback to hand-lettering. The designs feature the sponsors that have supported me over the years and skate mottos that I live by. I collaborated with Rebekah Alexander, who did the fantastic illustration of my dog on the back of the helmet. All the designs were done with Posca Paint Pens.

The NoCoast Skate Report is a collaborative downhill skate magazine featuring stories and images collected from five different states. Issue one was printed in late September of 2015 and was funded through PayPal, GoFund Me and personal donations. We exceeded our goal by $125 and were able to produce 90 copies of the magazine shipped across the U.S, Canada and Japan. Each copy was perfect bound by hand, signed and numbered.

Documenting the downhill skate scene has always been top priority for NoCoast Skate. The landscapes we encounter are just as important as how you get down them.

Originally NoCoast Skate was a platform to share videos and images coming from Oklahoma. This quickly spread to include any states without a coast. We gave them a voice and people have been listening. The brand is instantly recognizable in the skate community, whether it's on a t-shirt, a video or on racing leathers.
The NoCoast Skate blog has been the original platform for us to share media content since 2010. This is where we built the core of our audience with images and videos from skate trips. The blog was also great for early product reviews and rider profiles where we wanted large images and large video embeds.

The NoCoast Skate Facebook page was created in early 2014. Since then we have seen a dramatic rise in traffic to Facebook and have since used it as the major platform for sharing content. We post daily images, videos and stories that are curated from riders around our skate scene.

Videos are what drive the skate community. We have a saying, that if it wasn't on film it didn't happen. Since late 2011 NoCoast Skate has primarily used Vimeo to share high-quality video content.
